I was experimenting with some of the green cleaning products I use, and found that simple white vinegar really is the best thing for getting rid of limescale and water marks! It’s tricky to find in the high street, but it’s cheap and surprisingly effective. I was sceptical about the vinegar hype, but it does actually work! (I swooshed over things with Eco Squirt to make it smell less like a chippy after, and buffed with an E-Cloth.. perfect sparkly chrome - LimeLite chemical cleaner no longer needed - RESULT!)

If you have a grubby porcelain kitchen sink fill it with hot water, add a capful of washing soda and leave it for two hours. After you drain it, you will find that any stains remaining will wipe away easily.

Keep the inside of your dishwasher immaculate by filling the detergent container with citric acid (you should be this from your local pharmacy) and running the machine with no dishes in it.  If you can’t get citric acid, try squeezing two or three lemons and using the juice.
